A Wearable Technology Fashion Show

at the International Symposium on Wearable Computers (ISWC)

October 8th, 2002, 6:00 p.m. to 6:30 p.m.
in the University of Washington HUB Auditorium

We are producing a Wearable Technology Fashion Show in conjunction with
the International Symposium on Wearable Computers.  ISWC is an annual
conference for wearable computing researchers that happens to be in
Seattle this year.  The Fashion show will feature cutting edge wearable
technologies developed in labs around the world including the latest in
mobile input/output peripherals, portable computing devices, and
integrated textiles.  The show will begin at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday,
October 8th.  It is open to the public and free of charge.  Please
come, bring your friends and plan to have a good time.

Exhibits by wearable technology vendors are also open to the public for
those who wish to come early.

Driving Directions to the University of Washington HUB Auditorium

Driving on I-5, take the NE 45th Street Exit and drive eastbound
(towards the University of Washington) on NE 45th Street to 17th Avenue
NE (approx. 1 mile). Turn right onto 17th Avenue NE. Continue to the
entrance gatehouse (Gate 2). You will need to pay for parking at the
gatehouse, remember to stop for a partial refund on your way out.
Inform the gatehouse attendant you want to park in the Padelford
parking garage. The attendant will be able to give you directions from
the gatehouse to the parking garage. From the Padelford parking garage,
you will proceed up the escalators to Stevens Way. Turn left, and
proceed approximately 1/2 block and the HUB will be across Stevens Way.
