To: wa-digital at yahoogroups.com

Now that beta testing of Winmor and RMS Express is pretty much
complete, I am operating a 24/7/365 Winmor RMS on 3569.5 and 7081.1
(center). I am on a day/night schedule. See
http://groups.yahoo.com/group/winmor to download RMS Express, the user
client to access HF Winmor Radio Message Servers. For more specifics
on Winmor, see http://www.winlink.org.

Winmor is a new sound card protocol that is in reach of most anyone.
It is not meant to replace Pactor II / III, but as a supplement to it.
With a simple Tigertronics SL-USB radio-sound-card interface, a good
computer and HF radio, you have all that you need. I am receiving
dozens of connections on a daily basis. Winmor protocol is really
working quite nicely now that most of the bugs have been worked out of
it.

I highly recommend that all EMCOMM and associated entities supplement
their bags of tricks with Winmor. It may provide the edge that you've
been missing. Most people don't have an unlimited budget for a
proprietary Pactor III interface, so please consider Winmor as the
next best. You won't be sorry.

Best regards,
